The AlumaLite aluminum drop hitch with dual ball balances strength with weight savings to make towing and leveling a trailer easier than ever. The lightweight billet aluminum makes handling and installation of the shank straightforward and simple. The shank allows for 3-1/2″ of drop in precise, 1″ increments, making raising or lowering the 2″ or 2-5/16″ ball convenient and easy. The AlumaLite aluminum drop hitch is also universally compatible with a 2″ x 2″ hitch receiver with 5/8″ hitch pin holes. A drop hitch is essential for towing any trailer with a differing height than the tow vehicle. An imbalanced trailer can lead to improper weight distribution and cause the vehicle-trailer connection to sag or lift, which can lead to trailer sway and result in an accident.
